Egg Drop Soup :

You will need:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup homemade vegetable stock
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • ½ cup green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1tsp cornstarch

How to Prepare:

  • Put the stock and garlic into a stockpot and bring the mix to boil over low heat.
  • Meanwhile, take a small bowl and whisk the egg in it and set aside.
  • Add cornstarch into the stock mixture and stirring.
  • After a few seconds, pour in the whisked egg slowly with vigorous stirring.
  • Cook the mix for about ten seconds and then remove from the heat.
  • Set aside for 3-4 minutes and the soup is ready.
  • Transfer the soup into a serving bowl.
  • Feed immediately.
  • The egg gives texture and flavor to the soup, besides adding more nutrients.
